Can you ask him to share what changes there were?

- Bring back the original 10-spoke wheels without inversion
- thinner bezels touchscreen
- LSS 3.0
- launch control button

Those are the things I wish they can implement on the 2025, but knowing it's TMC, their stubbornness tells me that chances are usually pretty slim.

I have a document with the changes for Canada. While I can’t share it, there are very few changes.

Additions:

Alcantara instrument panel material

Deletions:

Atomic Silver no longer available. Iridium remains the only silver option (it was also available for ‘24 MY in Canada).

I don’t have pricing yet.

^^^^That should cut down on the glare for those with the Toasted Caramel interior.

Even with black interior and headliner, the reflections on the windshield is pretty bad. I blame it on all the tech like HUD they have to put on the dash.
Fortunately, polarized sunglasses solve that issue and still can see the HUD.

Tint your windshield. I just got mine back and the glare is significantly reduced, I went with 50%.

As in 50% light blocking? That’s illegal in many states. I believe, though you won’t get prosecuted, many states technically have legislation that prohibits even a clear film (to prevent UV and reduce heat) being applied to the windshield.

Yes correct. It's 100% illegal but it's not enforced at all where I live. I have had 50% on 3 of my cars and 45% on my GS for the last decade, no issues. To me it's a must in FL from a heat rejection perspective, and since they don't enforce, I like the esthetic of a little darker window. IMO 50% is really as dark you'd want to go without significantly impairing night time visibility.

If you want to do it for just heat rejection 70 or 80% is the way to go, you cant even tell there is tint on it at those levels.

Gotcha. I haven’t bought tints in (more years than I care to admit) as our climate doesn’t get too hot, even in the summer, and the cops enforce tint law. I used to put 45% on the front windows and 30% on the rears. I should’ve put a clear on my Porsche, as a few years of direct sunlight on the carbon fiber steering wheel parts eventually led to a crack, which is apparently pretty common. (A few hundred bucks to save a few grand.) I didn’t have an extra garage space for the car.

My local PD would love me. It was $50/ticket in the ‘90s. I’m guessing it’s gone up since then.

Nice!!! So the tint goes on the inside or outside? I thought it messes something up if it’s on the inside.
My tint shop would not do it. Something with safety concern. The windshield needs to be shattered and not in one piece held up by a film(?). I didn’t really inquire further.

It's in the inside same as windows. Some shops won't do it because it's illegal and maybe some liability potentially involved? Mine had no concerns and everything works as originally designed. I even had a quick scare and PCS worked as expected also. The HUD is just a hair darker than it was before, but still visible even with polarized sunglasses. Only becomes difficult in straight sun in front with light colored pavement.

2025 RX was announced today. Maybe we’ll start seeing more 2025 model announcements.

I'm with Bruce on this, to be able to have an order accepted by Lexus, the dealer would have to get an allocation, and you would need to have pricing to sign an agreement. Given that Lexus has not released any pricing or availability, I find it very suspicious that anybody can claim that they have a confirmed order for a 2025 LC.
