On a storage compartment lid there is a latch, and on a body there is a [ shape hook.

is that one needs to be adjusted? I was thinking about that, I will try to press on a lid when it is closed and see if it has any play.

This is what I found so far on website, btw it is exactly that Lexus dealer what you were visiting to fix the issue.

is it the latch mechanism of the compartment lid? And what brace you are talking about? The one inside storage the big one goes across the compartment with about 5 bolts on it?

I am not a mechanical person--I relayed that was told to me and written in the service repair order.
