I am not sure about these spacers, one inch offset can cause additional stresses on the bearings and suspension components as others stated. I am a structural engineer and don't take such modification lightly, I made rough assumptions about weight of the vehicle (2 tons), ball bearing distance to wheels nuts seat (around 6") and assumed 50% weight distribution front and rear wheels, I calculated roughly the induced stresses of the one inch additional wheel offset is equivalent to the impact of 667 lbs additional weight of the vehicle. This is around 17% increase stress wise (not actual weight increase), more wear and tear is expected on bearings and suspension components.

if the stock 6" bearings to nuts assumption is not sufficiently accurate (I am not a mechanic), less than 6" would make things worse and opposite is true.

I really like the design of these spacers. Do you have any additional pictures by chance? I see they have an option for 15mm front and 20mm rear, which I think might be more of what I'm looking for. I'm also curious if you have done anything with the splash guards, as I was looking at those same ones myself. Heck, even if you taped them up just to see how it would look.

Thanks for posting this up!

Consistent with every other structural engineers’ opinion + OEM warnings. As much as I love the looks, why i’m skipping on this one.. But then again, you don’t hear about the failures everyday, which speaks to the load capacity buffer on these cars. Still, i’m skipping on this one.

That is because the cars are fairly new, bearing/suspension lifetime will be reduced for sure.

Default Spacers Mounted Now

Here are some pics of the spacers on the wheels before and after. Holding off on the splash guards for now. Haven't decided how to best mount them given there is some space between them and the inner fender due to the contour of it with the overlapping body fender lip. Want to find a plastic spacer to take up the gap below the upper screw mount and the next one down. Want to epoxy the correct thickness of the spacer to the splash guard to create a continuous contact area. Haven't found what I want yet.
