Winter Tires
So I did some reading on the forum, sounds like i am ok to run these 21” Yokohama Bluearth Winter v906 Front: 265/40/21 Rear: 295/35/21 , they on FB for $600 only used 3 months. The wife wants to drive the car as much as she can, so for the short time it will see some snow, i don't see the need to buy new tires, she rotates cars with our CLS 4 matic winter beater, so its not going to see heavy use, but i want her to be somewhat safe if she takes out the LC.

Just checked TireRack (which is owned by Discount Tire) and there are NO A/S tires for the LC; not even a single UHP A/S category. I wasn't aware of that. I wanted to be able to drive the car in winter too, which are mild in TX, but still dangerous for summer tires. And even the Michelin Pilot 4Ss are not available anymore, since the rear size was discontinued (only a few left). And no indication the newer 5s are available, so that's a problem for me. I wish I could find a car with the stock 20s, which are really nice (at least the only one I saw, which was a bespoke), which would be perfect for a grand touring car like the LC. Why 21s? Makes no sense to me. So I'd be stuck with mediocre tires, and super expensive too. Geez. Stock wheels are good for non-RF tires, right?

For reference, I started the process back in late summer 2023 and thought that I have a solution by going to 20s (a few winter tire options) as there were no winter available for 21s. Then TireRack miscalculated the wheel sizing and they did not fit. I then tried to find all seasons and none is available for 21s.
Fortunately my local lexus dealer was able to find a set of 21 all seasons, which I am using now and they:
Michelin Primacy 245/40R21 and 275/35R21.
Overall it appears that other than summer/performance tires, selections/options are very limited for 21s, especially for winter. The services part manager recommend that I should start as early as April to begin the search process if I want anything other than performance

Pardon my ignorance, but I've read somewhere .. or was shown I think on Facebook ( I don't have it ), that people have run 265/40/21 and 295/35/21 on OEM wheels without issue?
Would genuinely love your input on this on why this wouldn't work (even if it's less optimal due to current OEM 21" rim sizing)

^^^^The OEM wheels on the LC are 8˝" wide in front and 9˝"wide in the rear. I am attaching the manufacturers rim width recommendations for the two size tires in question. You will notice that the minimum widths are wider than the stock wheels.

I have some Pilot Sport All-Season 4's going on my car on Saturday, 255/40R21 for the front and 275/35R21 for the rear. Tire Rack has them you just have to manually type in the sizes. Will report back on how much better they are over the stock summer run-flats.

Your Vossen HF-1 wheels
Sorry, I know that this tread is not about wheels, but I became a member just to ask you about your HF-1 Vossen wheels on your latest post. I saw the photos of your LC and HF-1 wheels, just the perfect match, exactly what I was looking for. I have an order for an LC and expecting delivery in late March. I want to put in an order for a Vossen as well but the HF-2, exact specs as yours and wanted to confirm the offsets as the front offset seemed a little low. If I'm not mistaken, your wheels are 21x9˝" front, offset +5, and 21x10˝" rear, offset +15. Is that correct? If you had to order again would you still have used the same size (21" vs 22"), and same offsets (+5 for the front, and +15 for the back), or would you have changed them. I like the wheels to be pushed out as much as possible with out pocking out and no rubbing, everything stock. In the photos the front of your car is in the shade so I couldn't see the front wheel clearly. Your car looks just perfect and I would appreciate any input on the size of the wheels and offset. TIA.

^^^^Yes, you are correct concerning my wheel specs. And No, I would not change a thing My personal preference is that 21s look better than 22s. And they will certainly provide a better ride.

Thank you, I will also go with the same specs. Your car has just the perfect stance.
