I just saw that this morning as well. I have aways been impressed with this car. Having watched the vid I am even more impressed how it is assembled. I have to say I am quite proud to own one of these beauties.

It's probably the third time it's been posted here.

This factory tour video just reinforces the many reasons why I choose a new LC 500 convertible vs. buying a C8 Corvette (where higher production numbers = several quality problems). Also, I noticed a couple of the builds on the assembly line had what appeared to be orange brake calipers. Does anyone know if Lexus is now offering an option (through bespoke build I assume) to have different colored calipers from the factory? Not ready to trade my 2023 (with <5K miles yet) but just curious. Thanks!

Interestingly enough, I purchased a 2023 Corvette in December of 2022 (almost 2 year wait from order), and while it was everything I thought I wanted, I sold it this past August with the hopes of ordering my first ever Lexus. I first saw the LC about 6 years ago at the International Car Show and I was in awe of its beauty. Surprisingly, I have never seen one since on the road. So when I went in to my dealership this past Saturday to order my bespoke, they had a red convertible sitting in the showroom. I sat in it and just stared at it. What a piece of art!
As I went through the ordering process, there was no mention of different colored calipers other than the black ones. I will have mine powder coated if I decide to color-match them to the car. Now I wait to see if my order is accepted and ultimately built. I look forward to joining this great community.

I've owned three Corvettes in my past life ('59, '75 + '76) and I'm a huge fan. In fact, before I decided on a new LC 500 conv't, I tried in vain to order a new 2020 C8 from the local NC Chevy dealer and was told: 1) the wait was ~18+ months and 2) I should expect to pay ~$10K-12K over sticker (depending on config). I live in a small neighborhood in Cary, NC and there are 5 or 6 new C8's here and they are a common sight around town (although I keep thinking they look more like a McLaren from a distance). I love driving my new Lexus not just because it's unique, different and the best hand-built lux GT available for the $$$ but there are only a handful in the area (and none in cloudburst grey/toasted caramel/blk top except mine). I hope your order is accepted and you will be a new member of the LC family soon! Take care!

Being the owner of 2 Corvettes myself a C6 and C7 I got on the waitlist for C8 in Dec of 2020. I was told 8/12 mos for order acceptance + 8 weeks to build. At 15 mos with still no order date, my wife wanted to trade her RX in for a new one. I sat in an LC in the showroom and instantly knew I had to have one. It was a convertible and I prefered a coupe and the sticker was 114K which was a bit more than my Corvette order. Within 2 weeks an LC arrived, Certified coupe with 16k on the clock and a number about the same as my Corvette build needless to say goodbye C8. That was almost 3 years ago now and I still have to pinch myself that I own this car. For my criteria it is perfection and have not regretted my decision to cancel the C8 order

I had to wait about 20 months but was able to “only” pay MSRP. I haven’t looked back at selling mine (no complaints whatsoever with the car) and am so excited to hopefully have my LC order accepted.

What a beautiful example of a C8 - congrats! Hopefully you will get a chance to enjoy your new LC soon; two totally different driving experiences but both are great cars! (In fact, I'm thinking about picking up an E-Ray as a second to my LC convertible once availability opens up a bit more). Take care!

the description says it was the first time mainstream media did a factory tour. The video quality is terrible (for 2024 standards).
