That's a great tip, I'll make sure I use a magnetic one 😀. My 1st mod was getting the key card, this will be my 2nd mod. If I like it, I'll do the carbon tail light covers.

Nothing here is stick on.
As I mentioned before it’s Lexus Mirror housings skinned in carbon fiber.

Back in 2020 I had my dealers body shop do mine for $100 total. But since then I have removed them to replace the light strip. It’s relatively easy if you follow the video above. I was concerned at the time with the glass mirror removal but the mirror has a strong backing and will not crack when you pop it off, At least mine didn’t. So doing the mirror replacement is relatively easy do it yourself job.

I do have the carbon fiber roof and the weave matches well with the rest of the car.

Thanks Veight - It does appear to be pretty simple. How is it holding up after 4 years?

Well, they look brand new but I keep my car garaged with an indoor cover on it. I have a Lexus IS for daily driving.

Mine stays garaged as well. My daily driver is a 22 4Runner TRD Pro. What cover are you using? I wanted one to keep the dust/rain/snow off when I open my garage door. I was reading that some are not good for convertible tops, so I've gone without one. Looking new after 4 years, that's awesome & seems like a good purchase.

I have a two toned Coverking indoor car cover. It’s easy to put on and take off. But you have to be sure your car is clean or the cover becomes dirty. Can’t use tire shine products if you use a cover.

The major advantage of the interior cover is that it prevents dust build up so the car always remains clean and I’m only washing my car once a year. The less I wash my car the less surface scratches on it.

Wow!!! Now that's nice! Ill take a look at it, very snug fit. I guess the roads in my location arent as clean as your roads. After a couple trips out i wash my LC just to get the road dust off. I wax every 2 weeks, not because i need to, but i enjoy doing it. Thanks for sharing.

I need a cover 🙂

+1 on the indoor CoverKing. Mine is all red to match mt LC. Fits like a glove and easy on/off.

I like the black and red, but any color will do because I have no cover at the moment. Thanks for your comment
