Is there a way to turn on HUD directions on 2018 LC500 w/ Apple CarPlay?

Default Is there a way to turn on HUD directions on 2018 LC500 w/ Apple CarPlay?
I have a 2018 LC500 and I had Apple CarPlay installed about a month ago. I noticed that the car only displays the direction on the hud when I use Lexus maps. Is it possible to have it when using Apple CarPlay? It seems to be available on the newer 2020+ cars.

nope. at least not that i know of. I think thats a 2024 feature only with the new user interface

I have a 24 LC500. What do you mean by "displays the direction of the HUD"?

^^ Map turn-by-turn directions displayed on the HUD is what I am reading.

It only works with navigation, not with Apple CarPlay.
