I was looking at the bumper scrape amor earlier, did you install it yourself and was it easy? I'm assuming you just remove the original OEM hardware and install the piece with the provided hardware? Didn't see installation information on the website. Thanks.

To answer the earlier question about the front license plate holder creating holes in the bumper: yes it does. There is no mounting hardware in the front bumper for a license plate frame, Lexus provides self-tapping screws to screw into the plastic cross-member behind the grille.
I was very clear with my salesperson in advance that I didn't want the front license plate mounted, the first photo she sent me of the car on delivery day was with the front plate installed. When we realized that the cross-member that the license plate frame screws into is physically part of the bumper (that a new bumper would never color match correctly), she had their detail specialist take a look at it. He did something magical with the holes in the plastic to repair them, after which I had trouble finding the holes again. It was very well done. I wish I knew what the detail guy did to fix it, but he did a great job.
I installed it myself and it is easy. It uses existing screws in a couple of places and has you drill / screw new holes in a few places. It also includes some silicone / sealant material that is meant to seal the leading edge, that step I skipped on both cars.

Congrats! You must be excited for the new to you LC500.
I recommend getting the front full PPF (paint protection film). In the year of ownership, I already notice that PPF saved me at least one rock chip.
Also someone mention the front bummer guard. When I realized the underside of the front bummer is painted, I asked my PPF installer if they can do a little piece of PPF on the underside. It's not much and I don't think my installer made it to the end of the plastic, but I like to think it adds just a little bit of protection. I don't he even charged me for that extra bit.
Yeah, I know its a little dirty. I'll clean it next wash.
Speaking of PPF, if your LC500 comes with the carbon fiber door sills, highly recommend that you get those covered in PPF. Xpel makes a matte and gloss PPF so you get to keep the different carbon fiber look even under the PPF. I know I am careful when entering and exiting my car, but sometimes the technicians/mechanics aren't and you don't want to scratch those.
