Outside Door Closing
So, maybe a dumb question; when you close the door from the outside, are you pushing on the window or the door frame itself?
I ask because the wife wears rings. When she closes the door, she's pushing on the frame of the door thus dragging fingers/rings across (same on the trunk, I'm using the third eye to push down closed). I've tried to use the black molding area between the window and the door frame. So has anyone added a section of 3M clear tape to protect the door at the most obvious areas one would push the door closed?

Never close a door by the window if the window is frameless like those on the LC as it puts unnecessary wear on the components that hold the window in place.
