i asked for NOTHING extra,,,they put on Simonize Glass Coat $1000 but said I didnt have to pay....but in retrospect it really added to the Lexus paint...I was amazed at how good the car looked..now using Tech 582 spray detaill after a car wash..:}}

Yes, I make sure to specify no wash when at the dealer.
I am the only one who has ever washed mine.

Now it's "in transit to Toronto yard", due June 25-29th.

Can't hurt to message them to see what the system says. My dealer is more than happy to receive and respond to my once a week texts.
I lobbed a friendly call to my dealer and lo and behold, the car arrives at port later this week!

Do you folks with 24s have the constant beeping in reverse? I noticed in the 2024 manual that option is removed from the "customization" section of the manual whereas it did appear in previous year manuals or Lexus personalization info sheets.

I want to give my dealer a list of things to change during PDI before I take delivery (remote to open windows, link driver and passenger door unlock link to driver seat position, maybe a couple others)

No beeping in reverse.
Get an ODB reader like Carista ODB plus and you can change all the setting you want and when you want it.

The window down while holding unlock only works with the FOB. The key card does not have any buttons to do that. Just keep that in mind. When you have the key card, that’s all you want to use so the feature is useless.

Thanks. Yeah I understand it's with fob only but I'd still like it enabled.
As for carista, sure, but why buy a reader and pay for the software if the dealer can and will do it for free initially?

Because sometimes you can change your mind. And you won’t have to make an appointment with the dealer to change it. It’s $10 a month and month to month basis. VS. going into the dealer and they may or may not do it for you for free after the first 1000 miles check up.

If you going in the dealer, make sure you print out the full list check item by item. Some you might not understand.
I had Carista for the month I bought the car. Now, I realized the default 3 blinks for changing lane is not enough time for me in my area. So I’ll likely pay another $10 to change this. I rather do that than making an appointment with the dealer.

Yup I've already gone thru the full list of which is how I realized the reverse beep option is gone, so I think I'm good. Most of the settings are good as is on default, just want to disable the seat belt chime and enable the window function and a couple other things. I don't see a future need for any of that to change. 3 blinks is good for me, I prefer it to the 5 I had set on my GS after originally thinking 3 was not enough lol

Would you mind listing the changes you want your dealer to make before delivery. I prefer to get this done at the dealership on the front end but not sure what options I have to change.

https://assets.sia.toyota.com/public...f/OM11650U.pdf

Pages 459 - 469 of the manual list all the changes. The "dealer only" changes are listed from the bottom of 463 - 468. Mostly having to do with door lock/flasher/lighting/window operation.

Attached is the list excerpted with a red star on the items I intend to ask dealer to modify.
