Trying to keep up with UK emissions standards for the volume they were selling wasn’t worth it, looks like.

|I'm not sure it was the emission standards, but more so that for some strange reason the LC just didn't sell in any real quantity. To date, only something around 560 units have ever been registered, and that figure includes approximately 190 hybrid versions. Never can quite understand why when so many crank their necks just to get a view.

The car just doesn't sell well anywhere. If the damn thing had an extra 100HP they would have sold a hell of a lot more. Most people who spend 100k on a car want faster 0-60 times and the LC is a bit sluggish compared to the competition.

Even 50 more hp would help it remain competitive.
