Default How to black out the grill like the Inspiration Series

Does anyone know how this can be done?
I'm planning to get a LC vert...I know I can use a black wrap for some of the chrome parts but not the grill.
Is the only way to remove and spray?

Are you planning on buying new? Then do a bespoke. Short of buying the OEM part and replacing it, every other solution won't look as good.

'21-'23 you could order the grill part but the headlight/taillight trim won't match.

I had my friend chrome delete with 3M vinyl tape, front grille, side mirrors, the katana blades (whatever the chrome roof trim is called), top of the tailights, and the rear diffuser. Only issue so far was one of the exhaust pipes shrunk a little bit probably due to the heat, but he was able to touch it up.

Thanks for responding flowrider.
I have seen a wrap/tape of the lower portion of the grill.
It appears you did the 3 sides, no?
Does the taping on your car stand the test of time (no peeling or blistering)?
Your mod looks great and is something I will definitely consider.
From the pics your grill appears dark, is it just the lighting or did you have it sprayed?

Does the taping on your car stand the test of time (no peeling or blistering)? - The Tape has been on four years now. No deterioration that I can see.

^^^^I didn't - I had it applied by a shop that specialized in automotive tape application. 3M automotive tape appears to be available from many sources on the web.
