I may say, no wind noise till you go to highway, but even then it is not that loud than open windows in a coupe.
and definitely when top down it is a neck twister for sure. But I wish convertible would have a hard top.
The more I think about it the more I am torn. Probably going to try and get an allocation for my desired build toward Q3 or Q4 of this year but I keep going back and forth.
I live in San Diego and I've owned several convertibles, mostly dailies like my IS 350C, BMW 235i and 997.2 911. I like going top down, but it sometimes crosses my mind that I'm doing sun damage to my skin and hearing damage to my ears.
The coupe looks very good, better than the convertible, and it gets rear steer to boot. I'm used to smaller cars, so rear steer would go a long way to help make the length of the LC feel shorter.
But then I'd be stuck with alcantara which I don't like...
When you go touring or bespoke to get the semi-aniline leather, you lose the RWS and the VGRS and the auto spoiler.
If you go performance, you lose the semi-aniline and the dark chrome trim.

Yup, really wish you could do a la carte options like the Germans. Kind of silly you can’t even do that for bespoke. Want the rear steer, variable steer ratio, LSD, dampers and retractable spoiler. Dont care about the carbon fiber roof, and don’t want 21s or alcantara.

I notice the performance package also states performance brakes. And the convertible doesn’t have this anywhere. This is an add-on option for the convertibles?
it’s so hard to find definite info on what is included in each configuration since we can’t option it out on your own.
To this date, I’m still not 100% sure what is exactly included in the $3600 Bespoke package other than the plaque that says Bespoke Build.

I think the performance brakes are referring to the pads only.
Lots of reports of excessive brake dust and squealing with them.
Dealers are replacing them with standard pads if requested.
Performance package is not available on the converts.
For me this is an easy question and boils down to aesthetics.
IMOO, I've always felt that coupes looked better and preserved the lines of the car compared to their convertible counterparts, and why all my P-cars are coupes.
So when I do buy an LC500, it will be a coupe, and preferably a blue one. Structural Blue is my first choice, but good luck finding one, I know.

You are correct IMHO too, as to the lines as you approach it from the side. And if you purchase a vehicle so that you can feel happiness for the moments you approach it, and that's worth 100K, then good for you. On the other hand, it's not that the convert is ugly from the side, and actually is beautiful with the top down, but the other factor. Did you buy the car to get pleasure from approaching it for a minute, or from driving for hours down the scenic road glorying in the feel of the sun on your shoulders and the wind on your face?
Many folks have purchased a car for them to love on for the majority of the time spent with it, not because they think other people will be thrilled. My thrill would be to have a sparkle tinted red convert with tan interior and leave my hat off so my hair would blow around. (I do get a lot of that feel driving my IS350c.)

I’m bringing this one home today. Although I really like the ‘23 prior dash better, to get the USB, it has to be ‘24. This one is a Bespoke build coupe pretty much the way I would want it without the wait. Blue on black is my thing.
Beautiful! Greyed out trim, black IS wheels and a carbon roof (that's what yours looks like) is exactly what I have arriving in ~6 weeks. I got the white/blue interior, but fully admit yours is a classier and cleaner look. Got the white/blue to be different .
