Creaking Seat Belt
24 LC500 Coupe. Red interior. Leather seats with Alcantara.
This seat belt connection is driving me nuts! It's right by my left ear and every bump the seatbelt moves very slightly and this red strap creaks. I thought that there was initially some play in the magnetic bottom button. Now I wonder if it's the nylon belt rubbing against the red strap. Maybe it's the red strap rubbing on the seat back.
I can get it to do it when the belt is on me, but I can't duplicate it otherwise.
I've taken to driving without the strap connected because that's all I hear.
My Lexus service guy told me to stick some scotch tape on the magnet. FFS

I have the same issue. The noise is coming from the nylon rubbing against the leather strap. I tried sticking some felt around the leather strap (in the same red color as my interior) to minimize the creaking noise, and it helped a little. Unfortunately the noise didn't go completely away. The other thing I find that helps is regularly conditioning the leather strap, since it makes it more slippery. Unfortunately this would have to get done at least weekly to minimize the noise. If anyone else has other solutions, please chime in.
You can see the felt solution I tried (which I now removed) in this video I made - jump directly to 7:13 (simplification #5):

Try lubricating the seat belt with a silicone spray like this.
