I used Montway Auto Transport website when I had my LC shipped from California to Georgia this past February. The price was good, and they were very communicative. It was funny when it showed up that it had actually been shipped in a Lexus carrier - giant logo on the side and everything! Have to say I hadn't seen one of those before. Definitely worth your time to look at a few and get comfortable with your choice. Congrats on the car!

I only use Unlimited Auto Transport. Not the cheapest but they have state of the art enclosed containers with a car elevator on the back so no ramp that can scrape your underside. https://www.unlimitedautotrans.com/

I just bought a new 2024 LC 500 coupe (infrared/toasted carmel) -- so excited as this has been my dream car for a few years now. The Lexus dealer is in Florida and I live in California. Can anyone recommend a good auto transport company that has enclosed trucks? I'd like to contract with the actual transporter directly rather than go through a broker. If anyone has had a good experience with one, I'd love to get your recommendation. Thanks!

This is a follow-up to say that my car finally arrived!! I got lucky and Masney Enclosed Auto had a truck in Palm Beach that could pick up my car from the dealer in Sarasota on the same day. Most of the other reputable transport companies had an ETA of 1-2 weeks before they would be in Sarasota. The odometer reading was barely unchanged from the reading when it was first loaded and it arrived in excellent condition. I highly recommend Masney Enclosed Auto especially for pick-ups in Florida. It took 9 days of waiting for the car to arrive in Northern California. They gave me the driver's cell number so I was able to get periodic updates along the way. Pros of their service: the company owns their own trucks and employs their own drivers (they do not outsource to other drivers/haulers), their trucks accommodate up to 6 vehicles in a hard-side enclosed truck with a lift gate so the angle of approach is very mild; they provided a certificate of insurance which includes $1M in coverage for motorized cargo; they provide the contact info for their drivers so you can get periodic updates.

After talking to several haulers who had very long lead times, I found Masney while watching a YouTube of EverydayDriver -- one of the co-hosts, Todd Deeken, had purchased a Lotus Emira and Masney delivered it to their shop. I figured if they were good enough for these auto enthusiasts, they would work for me! I sent Masney a message that evening and by the next morning they had responded with a pick-up ETA of that day. They were nearly full and on their way to California so the timing was truly fortuitous.
They had covered the driver's seat with a plastic cover, the floor was covered with paper to protect the carpet, and they draped a towel over the driver's side window area to keep from touching the pain. White glove service!
I took great pleasure in adding 2024 LC 500 to my ClubLexus profile -- finally!! Now I have to practice restraint and follow the break-in recommendations that I've watched online :-)

InterCity Lines is a first-rate car hauler. I would have used them but the wait was 2-3 weeks before they would be in Sarasota to pick up my car from the dealer. Glad you were able to use them.
