I would strongly suggest you look at the keycard instead of the key fob. The keycard is slim and has a slide in physical key. Probably 3 credit cards thick and it fits in your wallet nicely. It does not have any buttons but when was the last time you use the button on the key fob? The key fob is big and heavy! I hate them lol.
This is all I use on my LC500.
Probably not the best price but you get the idea.

Yes key card is the only way to go. I put my key fobs in the faraday box when I picked up my car and will never take them out ever again.

if you get a key card, how do you get it programmed to the car and how much does that cost?

I have a 23 LC convertible with all options. I tried to get a key card at the dealership. Lexus checked my VIN an I was told it was not compatible. They tried to program it anyway and it did not work, so not all 23s can get the key card, I think only the BB and IS come with it in 23. I suggest checking your vin for compatibility b4 buying anything.

You need to get the new key programed by the dealership anyways so you will have to buy it from them, They will refuse to program used keys that you buy online. Keys are a security item for your car. If you need a second one don't cheap out and get some shady person to program some used key that they have the frequency for. Just buy it from the dealership. You are driving a 100k+ vehicle ... don't cheap out on the one item that can get it stolen.
