2024 LC sales numbers
I Noticed the 2024 was 2nd place in US sales for for the month of May. Hard to beat those 2021 sales numbers when the LC still had that new concept car smell

1. People hated the touchpad/lack of 360 CAM/etc and are stoked on the new tech in the 2024 MY
or
2. People finally realizing that this is their last chance to get a strong NA V8 in any automobile.

This data is a little strange. Since 2024 model came out last year in May. For June-Dec 2023 are those 2024 model sales? And similarly for all other previous model as well.
USB color is what sold me on the 2024. But the new tech is nice. I’m okay with the track pad. It was just the software itself on the previous model that is either slow or need improvements.

I'm a new LC owner and there isn't that much videos about the LC specially the 2024s. Most reviews of pre-2024s do mention the lack of a touchscreen and/or the dislike of the touchpad as well as the lack of the 360* cam.
I do like the new tech in the 2024 but mainly I was after the V8 and that sweet sounding exhaust note before they disappear from the market.

I’m pretty sure it’s how many new LC500 sold that year. It doesn’t mean total 2023 MY are sold in all of 2023. We know that 2018 MY came out in 2017.
2021-2022 are also the YOLO years. Just starting to see the light at the end of the pandemic. People thought, life is short(look at what happen with the pandemic) so I’m going to do some YOLO spending.

Bought my new 2023 in February of 2024 so it's probably total new regardless of year made (preferred the original designed dash).

Touchpad on my 2018 was fine for me as well, u get use to it an u think no more of it. Car is still fabulous and turns heads where ever she goes.

Agree about the touchpad, I'm used to it and the mouse "button" on my others. On the LC, I don't really use the touchpad anyway after installation of the OttoCast for wireless capability. On the RXL we had the dealer install the Beat-Sonic for wireless CarPlay, wife loves it now. The other RXL we turned in had the touchscreen but the placement was a stretch to reach.

Can I just say how excited I am to be owning a car that sells less than 200 units a month? It definitely gives that exclusivity vibe. I only ever see one LC regularly in my town, but I see a ton of C8s and M cars everywhere. The M4 still sells 3000 units a month as does the C8. Even the BMW 8 series sells 2-3x as many units as the LC!

I would suspect the introduction of USB and the white interior, plus the touch screen and pano camera has helped people trade up as well as brought some buyers in who may have otherwise been hesitant.
