Very similar response I received about the dirt in the paint of my new LC! VERY POOR COMMUNICTON ! Very little help!

Agree. I have written back again since I find it hard to believe that exhaust DBA would not have been something addressed by the sound engineers. Especially with so much advertisement related to the exhaust sound, it couldn’t have been a lucky guess. Even if they responded with “that’s proprietary information” it would have been acceptable. Maybe they know, but are pleading the 5th. Interesting.

Sounds about right for trying to get information out of corporate. Not specific to Lexus either. I remember looking at a used 911 and it was a paint to sample custom color, a shade of green. I emailed Porsche corporate the paint code from the gas cap to confirm the actual color.

They came back saying it was arena red. It most assuredly was not, and certainly not repainted.
