Just got quoted around 6k for a full xpel ppf. Quote includes the removal of the factory/dealer optioned front bumper and hood protection and touch up of a small scratch/ding.
I may have them add covering the carbon door sills while I'm at it - I saw a couple other people here have done that and think it's a wise move.

Yup I'll be having the CF door scuff covered as well. They quoted me $100 each for those.

I did not have the door jambs PPFed for the reason you stated - unlikely to get rock chips, etc there.

I eventually had the lower door jambs done. A couple of weeks after I had the drivers side door handle replaced at the dealer, I noticed 2 chips in the paint in the blue circle area. One chip was barely in the original PPF and the other chip was outside of the PPF. I had a different shop replace the rocker panel PPF and add 2 strips to the inside of both doors. It can't hurt to get the extra protection there if it gets hit.

Thanks this is a good point. I'm definitely going to ask the shop to run the film up so it covers that first flat ledge fully, hopefully that would prevent any rogue chips right along the door edge! Thanks for pointing out!
