Main func of pin is to hold wheel in place during lugbolt install. I ordered the 14x1.5 pin but have yet to test fit. Something to do tomorrow before all the bbq n fireworks😁

As noted in several amazon reviews the knurled end will damage your rim as you slide the bolt hole over it. Not a very good design!?

Maybe a little electrical tape on the knurled part would help?

Yeah I was just gonna put a couple layers of left over vinyl wrap over it.
