The LC isn’t just a luxury car; it is a low-volume specialty vehicle that most people do not drive daily.

You are absolutely correct. Humanity no longer gives a ***** about the little details.. Why shouldn't all parts on the car operate as they should. Most don't care or even notice. I am not worried put commenting. I do find it odd that after thousands of hours of engineering Lexus can't seem to get the trunk lid to shut without slamming it. I will continue to love my care and on the rare occasion I get in the trunk I will slam it like a 57 chevy. Oh the Humanity!

RC-F's have been around longer and have sold with enough miles in the $30's. You can buy a new IS500 from the dealer for ~$60K. Both have the same engine as the LC. The people buying LCs are the ones who can afford the extra ~$30-40K for what is essentially a bodykit on the same 5.0L V8 that can be bought for less.

As soon as they discontinue the LC, or very shortly after, I would expect prices to start rising. So I wouldn't wait too long.

To each his/her own. I find truly more important things to worry about. 🤣
