US Lexus App Status Not Updating and Missing Info
Anyone having issues with the Lexus App not updating the status and also the car photo in the Status section not being correct? Also Tire Pressure and Fuel Levels seem to be missing as well. With the retirment of the Enform App, the new app seems to be a step backwards with the missing info. Seems to not be isolated to the LC either. My dad has an LS and the Status section is not correct either and the photo in that Status window is not an LS but rather a NX. His shows Tire pressure but is missing fuel level.

My 2018 has never been able to connect to the app, so I guess you could say I'm having problems with it! Although I think the app has improved since they released it, so earlier models function much better with the app than my '18.

One time I was about to install the Lexus app and I glanced at the Terms and Conditions and there was some reference to allowing lexus to monitor your location data and then share this data with other interested parties. I was worried that an interested party might include insurance companies.

You can opt out the location tracking. And the last line does say “we do not share this data with any third party without your consent” Take it for what it is.

Update- I have been in contact with the Lexus Brand Engagement Center. They report that Fuel Gage, Driver Pulse and Tire Pressure is not available for 2018 LC 500. I find that frustrating in that previous versions of the APP I did have at least Fuel Gage and Tire Pressure status updates. They will report this to higher ups. They also report that the car image in the status window and health window is supposed to be a generic white NX.

That is the one that communicates driving data to insurance. You want to make sure to opt out of that one.
Drive pulse won't send data to insurance but it is annoying because it gives you a report of how badly you drive 🤣. I keep that one on so I can track location/trips.
