The answer is "Yes..Return that car!".

I know you already made the decision but to put it in context... you are paying six figures man!. Unless you are a millionaire and won't miss it.. as mentioned earlier.. there is nothing rare or hard to find with the particular model you are purchasing.

If you google "Carvana car issues" you see a long list of issues buying cars from this company.

Why slum it?
Do business with a company that really cares about your as the customer and wants to delight you.. they are seriously bargaining with you over paint and scratches on a six figure car?

So... you are stepping on a dollar to pick up a dime.. and they are acting like the prototypical used car salesman..

No... be delighted with your purchase..

 

Return it.

Life is only as stressful as you make it.

Find a new one....pay a little more....take the small hit on the nonrefundable sunk cost...learn the life lesson...and the stress is gone.

 

You guys are right. Thanks for the sensible advice. Now let's see if they allow me to return. I only have a verbal approval for 10 days from one guy. Could be a problem.

 

stuff like this makes my sleep erratic, pay more and do it right...gets rid of that "nagging" feeling in the back of the brain.

 

Your right of course but in my defense.... beautiful cars, even with minor flaws, make me stupid.... . Beautiful woman have had the same effect on me... LOL

Return it! I worked with a guy who kept on showing up to work with a different high-end car every few weeks for about 2 months. He told me he kept on buying cars from Carvana and he would keep returning them for issues. He honest to God had about 5 different cars in that 2 month span. LOL

 

Just bought MOMMA 24 RX350H,,pearl white,,Birch interior.....what a gorgeous car...I would drive it(instead of LC :}) really nice car...getting used to the hybrid end of it...my love is the 24 LC...She doesnt drive my car and I dont drive hers :}.

 

Missed it,,, we are selling our 17 CRV to Carvana tomorrow ....replaced it with the 24 RX350H.

 

As others said, I'd return it. Carvana has been a great stock to own for me...but I wouldn't buy a car from them in a million years. Heck, back in 2021 I tried to buy a 987.2 Boxster from them and it showed up with tons of undisclosed scratches (I think it was scratched on the delivery truck) and the check engine light came on during my test drive. I rejected delivery.

 

Ok, here's the deal I made with a dealer in WI. 5g refundable deposit. Contingent on successful return to Carvana. I would appreciate everybody's thoughts. Thanks again.

No taxes? Being from the Communistwealth of VA, I am unaccustomed to not paying taxes when purchasing something and then paying annual property taxes for as long as you own the car.

 

I'll pay 7% here in TN when I register the car. One time only of course.

 

At least they are not trying to charge you a "market adjustment" as an excuse to make more profit. Normally, I do not go for extra warranties and such. I did not get any when I bought my Z06 new back in 17, but I knew I was going to track it and that would void most of the extra warranties anyway. However, for the LC I can understand it for the peace of mind.
