Convertible top window - Delaminating (2021 LC500)
Look at the delamination in the black band on the outer edge of the glass. Anyone else had this happen? As mine is under warranty, I asked Lexus of Tustin to fix it... It's been there almost 3 weeks now . It seems they have to replace THE WHOLE CONVERTIBLE TOP.
Seems like a terribly inefficient design by Lexus.
Garage kept? How was rest of top? Surprising if glass in worse condition than cloth top. Side note; verts known to have alignment/gap concerns (A-Pillar driver vs passenger side gap), keep an eye out for it on new top.
