2024 inspiration series owners- what wax/sealant are you using
I am curious if people are using standard waxes and sealants for their car due to the satin paint finish or are they using something like chemical guys for matte finishes and satin paint that’s a sealant. I’ve been using the chemical guys for Matt and satin paint finish sealant however I don’t really like it, due to being not having high hydrophobic properties. Curious if I’m overthinking this and just should use what I’ve always been using on my other cars.

Personally would stick with a spray sealant and avoid waxing. You want to avoid rubbing the paint as much as possible because that is what can cause the polishing effect.
Dr Beasley makes a good one, as does Adams (graphene). The chemical guys one is serviceable too.

Don’t use standard ANYTHING on matte paint. If it doesn’t say matte on the label, don’t use it. I’m unaware of good waxes If anyone with a polisher even looks at your car, drive away quickly. I was going to buy a ‘24 Inspiration but my detailer, who’d make a lot of money off of cleaning it, talked me out of it, even after I planned on adding a satin PPF on top of the factory finish.
Satin/matte/whatever needs extra care, from products, to application method, to storage. Some guys are happy with special ceramics added directly to the paint, but if it were me I wouldn’t apply anything without putting PPF down, first. It’s easier to replace a piece of damaged PPF if it goes poorly than to deal with damaged satin paint. All of the polishing techniques used for the last hundred years to correct paint will destroy a matte finish, as they require polishing.

This is what I have been using
Chemical Guys meticulous Matte Auto Wash, two bucket method and then using Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Detailer Spray and Sealant for Satin & Matte finishes. I will stick with these products. I am also using Chemical Guys Convertible top cleaner and protectant. Just looked Dr. Beasley's Matte Bead Hero and ordered. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the advice np20412.
