Hello all, I just made this purchase a few weeks ago in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada; first time owning a Lexus/Toyota and my last non-German was a 2008 Honda Accord EX 5sp. Been driving anything from Audi A4s to BMW 335s/M3s to Porsche 911s and Audi R8 for the past 14 years or so. Did some research and watched a bunch of YouTube videos and decided I wanted a "Lexus Luxury Coupe" so here I am.....

Picking her up tonight, cant wait!
Good boy...you finally saw the light I ordered AMG GT and returned it. Partially due to the TONS of YT vids on the LC. I have never seen so many reviews of a car before and like 99% positive ones. Drivers smiling and gushing about it. The GT might have had 20 vids in comparison. How did you like the R8? I looked at that as well but too small for me. The LC is already somewhat tight.
Penuboy nice work, you have gotten away from the finicky non friendly non reliable brand of BMW.! I am moving on from the BMW X5 which is not a reliable brand unless its a lease and u r giving it back, to a new RX350L for the Mrs. This will make 3 Lexus in our family at present. The one I talk about, 2003 GS300 225K mi that the grandkids use as well as I and the Mrs. in the rain and bad weather, it still runs like a top. So, welcome to the family of reliability you have made a great choice as well as a head turner! You will fall in love with driving once again. Drive it in good health, njoy!
Hello All, finally deciding to join the conversations after a couple of years reading your posts. My first Lexus was a 2014 IS F but let that go when I bought my LC sight unseen just for the color. This past December I ended up buying a 2020 GS F and an LE 2022 IS within a couple of minutes because I spent almost a year thinking I had a handshake deal for the 2022 IS500 at MSRP but 1 month before delivery a market adjustment was offered and I declined. Frustrated I started looking and found the GS F online and within 10 minutes of agreeing to the deal a dealer about 100 miles away called and said he had a 2022 IS500 LE at MSRP. Wife said life is short and the cars make you smile so buy both. Here is the result.....
Club Lexus got me through some rough times last year with all of the drama with the new IS500 and this community kept me sane and focused. Thank you for that and I look forward to contributing in the future.

Coincidentally I ALMOST got myself an 2020 AMG GT-R last spring but backed out last minute, the test drive put a HUGE grin on my face and I loved it, just couldn't justify paying the money for it, 2 times the LC! It's actually the R8 (and the E93 M3 to some effect)'s NA V10/V8 made me consider the LC. I miss the R8 so much, I had it for a few years back in 2018, I shoulda kept it. The R8 has the grunt and, the engine/exhaust note and the NA linear power I want and Audi has the simplistic design, especially the interior that I love as well, the Virtual Cockpit works really well in that car. Having the 5.0L V10 behind my back is a plus, with the glass and see-thru into the entire engine, it's borderline exotic, I still miss it.

I've had 3 BMWs since 2008 (335i, E93 M3 and G80 M3) and I guess I lucked out, didnt have too much trouble with any of them. Of of all 3 I kept the E93 M3 the longest, almost 6 years before I traded it in for a 991.2 911, again, no issues with the E93 and had so much fun shifting myself, 6MT and V8 NA and a convertible, cant ask for more. The other 2 I only kept for a short period of time, the 335(2008)and the G80 M3(2021)each for a year only.
My drive home from the dealer yesterday, of all the 170+km, was pure enjoyment. It reminds me of me driving the R8 just a few years back, but this time I have the option to do it top down, I'm sure I'll enjoy the LC for the years to come, thank you all!

I had a deposit down on a new car while keeping my eyes on the used market in the Houston area. I expanded my search eventually, and found this one in Georgia. I completed the transaction, and discovered I had seen it on YouTube, which was kind of cool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylFR40OJt6U]Featured in this video[/url]
The only flaws I've been able to identify have been cosmetic. Some of the paint flaking off on one wheel (pretty sure at least 2 of them have been repaired at some point), some faded PlastiDip on the grey plastic bits (I've already removed that in most of these pictures), the stealth wrap starting to lift in some small areas, and the front lip is busted up pretty good. Besides that, the car looks very well maintained and taken care of.
The car looks great imo, but I will be making it my own. I love the Artisan Spirits kit, so I'll have to get a new front lip. The plan is to get different wheels, repaint the calipers, peel the wrap, and liquid wrap it something else.

So they intentionally repainted it to an aftermarket color? Had it been wrecked?
As far as I can tell, the only thing ever repainted was the wheels and calipers. I suspect they have been repaired. Carfax came back clean, and this car was sold off the showroom floor as you see it now back in 2017/18 by the Lexus dealership there in Georgia.

The must have repainted the whole car. The LC doesn't come in a matte finish.
