I bought/spec'd Flare Yellow sight unseen. None of the dealers near me had a Flare Yellow anything in stock or in inventory and out of 6 dealers only one claimed to have sold one Flare Yellow RC F years ago.
I really want to see if the metallic paint pops in the sunlight, but you are right the gloomy days did make the yellow stand out even more.

Hi all - it won't arrive for a week or three but I signed today for a CPO 2019 Inspiration Series in Flare Yellow with the bespoke yellow interior

Sight unseen, haven't even driven one. I'm sure it'll be a very different experience from the orange 718 Cayman S I had before this but hopefully just as good in its own way. I'm in the PNW and usually do around 10k miles of road-trips a year, so I'll be taking the LC to twisty mountain & canyon roads all over the western US & Canada, first big trips being Hells Canyon (my favorite road in the US) and then Yosemite + the California coast in April.

Traded a 2022 Porsche 911 Carerra - great, great car but not the car for me. The Lexus ride, sound, interior quality, seat comfort, and quiet cabin better suite my style. And this is by far the most beautiful car I've ever owned. I'll post some pics once I complete paint correction and ceramic coating (I'm a weekend-warrier detailer ).

It was a win-win. In Marland you pay sales tax on the delta between the new car price and the trade in value. Since the 911 value was higher than the price of the LC, I paid no sale tax! That together with the trade in value my dealer gave me for the 911 put me pretty much where I wanted to be
