a quick google shows it's on the touring package for convertible on this '21...

Default I’m confused.

I don’t have neck scarf. I don’t have touring pkg. I have bespoke sports pkg. says right on the bill. Performance pkg and sports pkg.

Every convertible here in Canada has different seats with neck warmers

All I see in the convert is the touring package that includes
  • Semi-Aniline Leather Trimmed Front Seats with Embossed Headrest
I have yet to see the seats referred to as sport seats.

sorry for your confusion, but yes, since you don't have the touring package you don't have the neck scarf apparently.

Default 2024 LC500 coupe

Got the 2024 Nori Green/ caramel coupe delivered today. Dynamic handling, HUD and ML sound. Traded in a 2023 M8 competition Gran coupe. Very impressed so far!

Congratulations!
Beautiful car.
If you choose to post, would be interesting to read your comparison thoughts with the 2023 M8 Competition Gran Coupe.
Enjoy!

Indeed. In the power and handling department there is no comparison. M8 will do 0-60 in 2.8 secs and 1/4 mile under 11 sec. It will keep up with a Ferrari 488 and Lamborghini Huracan. Has an excellent x-drive system with exquisite rear wheel bias. Does effortless drifts and power slides…exhilarating! Also love the M1 and M2 drive mode buttons on the steering, better than the Porsche dial and Ferrari manettino.

M8 looks nice but LC looks better. LC is sultry. M8 has a nice interior but LC is much nicer. One can feel the workmanship that has gone into the LC, that’s what primarily attracted me.

BMW has never been able to get the ride settled when comfort is needed. It never soaks up bumps well. I played with tire pressure a million times to make it just acceptable. LC ride is just right. BMW has a communicative steering, LC is numb.

Exhaust is good in both, little better in the LC, M8 has an off button to avoid angering the neighbors.

Tech wise, after the ‘24 upgrade there is not much difference. I have never understood the need for ambient light colors, M8 has many. Remote start from the key fob in M8 is useful. Adaptive cruise and lane tracking is comparable.

Bower and Wilkins and Mark Levinson are comparable but the B&W has presets that are nice ie studio, concert etc.

Wish there was 2 inches more rear leg space. My prior Maserati Grantirismo and Ferrari FF sat 4 in comfort without really sacrificing anything.

In the end one gets the LC over competition the same way one gets a Rolex over an Apple watch!

Congrats! I have a 2023 convertible in the same color combo (with a black top). It is a classy look; in fact, I ordered mine after seeing an Aston Martin in the same setup (but for $150K more than my Lexus). Enjoy!
