Not new to Lexus by any means as the wife and I both daily a UX and NX and I've been a lurker on those sub forums as well.

But after a lot of hard work and ultimately also selling my pride and joy for the past decade, I was able to purchase my dream car since it first came out.
I've never been too good at introductions but.. I'm mid-30s, chicago suburbs native, newlywed, two shiba inus, no children yet, work in corporate as a day job, LE at nights, been in the car scene for decades but have toned it down quite a bit.
I've always dreamt of being in a LC but knew it was out of my price range new, and wanted to get a CPO'd LC in my specs once the opportunity was right..
It was hard to sell the S2000 as I've owned it since 2012 with 7200 miles, daily drove it for four years here in Chicago, but still kept it mint. Finally convinced the wife to let me sell it as it was very sentimental to the both of us for various reasons.

The 'new to me' '18 LC 500 Infrared with Toasted Caramel, sport package, HUD, ML sound
I don't plan to do anything to this car other than the carbon fiber tail light overlay (for that chrome trim up top), full PPF (XPEL) up front, and paint correcting the whole car. I just want to enjoy it.
.. I would however like to see if my Lexus dealer can put Carplay in it, I've read it's possible for a couple of bills, my SA hasn't returned my call about this yet but I'll likely follow up.
Extremely elated to be a part of this sub-forum and I hope to meet some great people along the way.

Nice rigs. Tough to get away from the oldie but goodies, especially when u have taken care of them for so long.
Bought the RX350L a year ago for the Mrs, wanted the last of the naturally aspirated 6's B4 they were gone. And yes you can get carplay in your 2018, cost me 149.00 at the dealer as we have the 2018 infrared as well, bought it 4 years ago with 1380 miles, the color turns heads as u will see.
Njoy and congrats, u will fall in love with the LC as well.

Congrats on the car. Hey, have a question for you. When you start with the bespoke, you start with a BASE LC, and add crap from there? Or does being a bespoke includes any options? Somebody was saying all bespokes start as 'sport package' cars, but I don't believe that to be the case. Maybe you can settle that either way. I'm considering a '23 bespoke, but it doesn't list being a sport package anywhere on the window sticker, and doesn't list any of the sport package options (Torsen, sport brake pads, etc). Thank you.

JCtx,
Unfortunately, the available configurations/colors/exclusions for the bespoke edition have been different every year since the program began. I cannot intelligently speak to the '23 configurations.
However, it is always to good to hear from someone from back home in Texas.
Good luck with your search.
