I'm under $1K per year, actually less than the 2021 RX350L (but the LC is paid for, the RXL was Leased). We had switched carriers this year also because of cost's. Currently with AAA (also everyone seems to be going to 6mos. vs 1yr.). We have four Lexus's with 16yr and 20yr old drivers (no, they can't drive the LC!). We are running under $4K for all, but no accidents or tickets and the wife and I are both above 55.

Pricing may change, hit 99mph going down the off ramp today to the highway, kind of caught me off guard!

I've just reported you to your insurance company, your rates are about to skyrocket

Ouch! Yea, new to this kind of power. I’ve never driven one until this purchase, which I guess is kind of crazy anyway when dropping this kind of coin (for me). Needless to say, the RXL’s don’t have the pickup this does!

My rates skyrocketed last year for my 2021 ‘vert.

its $3,200/yr now through GEICO with only 4,000 miles driven per year.

I think I was paying $2,200/yr when I bought it new.

I understand that things like age, driving record, vehicle type etc. are taken into consideration. But Michigan is supposed to be one of the highest in rates; https://www.marketwatch.com/guides/i...ates-by-state/

Don't worry, I'm not complaining about my current rates especially with what I'm seeing posted. I am concerned that the quote/cost is misrepresented or incorrect. Unfortunately I may not know completely until it's needed (hopefully it's not). Or they will just jack the prices when due again in 5 mos. (fishing hooked).

It happens to Every One Of Us.
In fact, the industry has a term for it. Premium Optimization.
They have calculated just how much they can raise you each year where you will get perturbed but just not perturbed Enough to go to all the effort to get a policy from somewhere else.
Now they've all jumped on the inflation train special.
Everything has gone up they'll say. That's what my agent said. I've read where in the past 2 years the average auto policy is up 40%. I wish mine had. In less that 2 years mine has doubled. No points, 800+ credit. My State Farm agent has no other reasons for it then the above. 😡 You can at least do what I did. Raise your deductible to the max, be sure you're getting every discount and be sure they have you driving the correct miles per year. The first and third of those actually saved me a little bit reach month.

"Bruce AndTheyDontEvenLubeYouUpFirst", Hilarious! Almost spit coffee out my nose. Reminds me of what they said when I was in the Military about the "big green weenie".

Mine is $2600 a year but that is also bundled with another car and an umbrella policy. I just got it brought down From $3200 a year.

The issue with mine is that in 29 months they have More than doubled my premiums. Again, no accidents, tickets or claims in 15+ years, Credit 800+. State Farm is pending termination with me and I'll tell my agent that this week. I've done what I can. I had them correct my Miles Driven amount and raise my deductables to the max. I won't use their policy unless the LC is near totaled or worse, the difference between $500 and $1000 won't matter then. That got me down $50 a month to right at 2x my 29 month ago figure. But that's all I can do.

This is only a temporary repreive to their hanging trap door dropping. I have no doubt it WILL drop. The next increase they give me I'll start looking for their replacement. Once you double my premiums for no reason on my side, You Gotta Go.

Yea, we went through numerous agencies. AAA was the cheapest for Home/Auto so far, even USAA couldn't come close. Crazy thing is dropping carriers after a lengthy time (loyalty) they don't care. As seen from others posting, the costs are all over the place.

I'm also in Arizona - Just got my insurance bill yesterday for my 2018 coupe - $641.24 for six months from State Farm. I also have my truck, house and a $2 million umbrella policy with them.

That's a great price compared to some others.
We also carry an Umbrella policy, mainly because we have a pool (plus they are pretty cheap).
