Welcome and great choice! Too bad you have to put that license plate bracket on the front. I think it messes up the look a bit. Regardless, you'll love your car!
Purchased my 2018 (year end) LC 500 from North Park Lexus of San Antonio. It is Atomic Silver with Toasted Carmel interior. It has virtually all options including: heads up display, 21" wheels, convenience, Mark Levinson, and performance package.
Just home from the dealer Just got the car wrapped Ceramic coated both cars
Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the club! Love that color combo...if you don't mind me asking, what type of ceramic product did you apply and how much did you pay? Thanks!
I agree. Texas used to be more lenient about requiring front plates but have decided to enforce the law. I did the best I could by mounting carbon fiber plates and frames to match the roof.

I purchased my LC 500 at Sterling McCall in Houston on December 30.
Its the Smokey Mica Grey also with the performance package.
I wrapped the whole front with Suntek film and did the ceramic treatment too.
I have not installed the front plates yet.
I guess I am giving the cops a reason to stop me.
I am loving the ceramic... The first time I washed it using the pressure washer I did not have to brush it at all.
I gently pressure washed it, applied foam with a foam cannon and then rinsed off the foam and gently dried the car with my leaf blower and a microfiber cloth.
Very similar stats !
OK, I am going to attempt my third reply to your message (quirkiest program). Although you may not be able to see the detail, my plates and holders are carbon fiber to match the roof (actually the plates are painted metal but I covered them in Xpel wrap). It may grab a cop's attention but so will the car. To minimize my meetings with the law, I have an Escort Max 360c and M1 camera that are linked and compact.
I haven't washed either car yet but do have a power washer and foam cannon. I like your leaf blower idea and will adopt it. I may start a neighborhood car wash as well.
Preparing a trip to the Carolinas soon to put some miles on the 500 but there is so little room (trunk, as you are aware, holds about two weekend suitcases). I think I may enroll in a one day course at Circuit of the Americas to familiarize myself with the car at speed, but after I get about 5,000 miles on it.
Happy driving and watch out for those curbs and dips.
Hey guys, I'm a new to the Lexus forums from New Jersey. Looking into purchasing an LC500 so I'm just sticking around reading some things here and there. Went for a test drive two weeks ago and it was amazing.
