Heck with putting phone away so you can’t see it. Go to www.proclip.com and get what Lexus should have put in the car. Then get an Anker charging cable that matches your interior and run it from the console so you can plug it up when you want to.

My LC500 is my daily (dry weather) driver. I drive a 2500 GMC Diesel on the wet days.

My Radar detector is mounted on my mirror and wired to my mirror. Blend Mount for the mount. Amazon for the wire. This website for where to stick the wires.

I mount my Sunglasses off my visor. Just be careful to get a nice leather one that has a flat edge on the top side so it does not indent the wonderful Alcantara.

What did I do fade - never had that thought. But the glory of driving 1.5 years has not faded. Best car I have ever owned. Best car I have ever driven.

Hello folks,

After lurking for years and posting about my order for about 5 months, I took delivery last Tuesday. Attached a picture of me heading into downtown Hamilton, ON last Thursday. For those who know the area, Hamilton has notoriously bad roads, but I wanted to go for a spin .

Details on me:
  • Longtime Toyota/Lexus advocate. '94 4Runner, '01 IS, '13 GS, '21 GX, '22 GX, and now the 2024 LC. Family also has had 3 LX and an RX.
Details on car (the important stuff):
  • '2024 LC500 Bespoke coupe
  • USB 2.0 on White/Blue interior
  • Touring seats
  • "Smoked / grayed trim"
  • Performance package (no VGRS, 4WS as it's bespoke, and also didn't want those features)
  • Carbon roof
  • No active spoiler
  • Matte black wheels
  • "Canada specific bespoke standard items" (I believe these are not available or cost more in the US): HUD, carbon scuff plates, cold weather package
Plans for car:
  • Got full front end Xpel PPF pre delivery. Bumper, hood, fenders, a-pillar, rockers and rear are vents, lights, mirrors
  • 70% front window tint, 55% elsewhere
  • Installed the scrape armor last night (see the scrape armor thread for pics and my experience). Beyond that, stock for a while. Summer only car with hopefully one big road trip a year
Other notes:
  • For some reason, my car came with black mats. Dealership noticed and ordered me blue ones as well
  • Delivery was about 5 months from the day I placed the order (note US bespoke deliveries seem to be about 1 month faster). Includes waiting to schedule PPF and CDK related delays. Ultimately it could have probably been 10 days sooner
Experience so far: Exceeded my already high expectations. Love the car and thought I'd be regretting skipping over the "Vette, Cayman, and 911" stages of my sports car journey, but happy to have hopped right to the LC. We'll see what I complement it with later.

My sales experience at Performance Lexus in St Catharines was phenomenal. If anyone is in Southern Ontario, I heavily recommend paying them a visit, even if it's an hour or more out of your way. Give you the proper "small town" experience along with that Lexus level of care and refinement. I'll never buy another car from a big dealership in Toronto ever again. If you want to get an idea of the enthusiasm and care the sales manager puts in, watch this video he made on my car:

That's all. Tx all for your posts and indirect encouragement to join the fray! Time to update my sig.

Hmmmm, now you've made me think of what mats I have LOL.

I have white exterior and the blue/white interior but not sure what color my mats are. So are you saying that if you have the blue/white interior, your mats should be blue?

After checking my car, my build has blue floor mats, blue seat belts, and blue convertible top.

Default New 2024 LC 500

Just traded 23 IS500 for new 24 LC. Previously had new 2017 GSF, prior to that used 2014 ISF.

Glad to be here in the LC group, top of the food chain 🤣.

Nice. Congrats.
I miss driving my kids(car seats) to school with the GSF though.

Default Trade IS 500 for LC 500

loved my IS 500, and nothing bad to say about it, great ride. In all fairness, IS 500 4-door more practical, especially if you need room for more than 2, but I’m single. fit, finish and looks of LC just heads above the IS. You give up room for more than 2, and storage space, but the fit and quality of the LC, absolutely top of the food chain… and with the quality assembly of what’s estimated at 17 units a day, instead of the typical 150-200 on a production line. The quality is amazing… but you do pay the price…
hopefully 25 or 26 will be the last production runs for the LC, and as many Auto reviewers anticipate, the LC could possibly become a future classic.. that being said, rarely is any car an investment, but just maybe depreciation will be offset or reduced to a minimum.

Selfishly, I'd like that to come into fruition. In fact, end the run in 2025 already.

I've already said this. They'll be a '25 LC at least. There are only 4 more races in the ISMA 2024 season. If Lexus were to drop their very successful 2 V8 engine car team, I think it would already have
been known by now. Bruce in Fl

Gregg Durham, Carmel Indiana, just purchased a 2024 Inspiration Series Convertible in July 2024. I have really enjoyed the car for the first 1,000 miles. Wireless Carplay is great and the touch screen looks much better in person than in pictures. The touchscreen works really well too. I have owned 3 911's (993, 991.1, 991.2) and got tired have the Porsche BS and getting screwed at the dealership. This is my 4th Lexus and I have always admired the LC and I can tell you its a great combination of sporty, comfort and luxury.
