Sounds like 1 set is enough to give full bumper lip coverage though, and that is all I'm looking for. I saw one example (not LC) where someone had sliplo'd the entire undercarriage front of the wheels and while that seemed overkill, wasn't sure if that is the appropriate way to use them. Seems like it isn't, lol.
Agree on the Lip, especially since you will also have the front camera to help (mine doesn't). Some of the areas installed (towards the wheels) are visible if you know what your looking for since I wanted maximum contact of the adhesive. Would also have been nice if they had other colors besides black since I have a white car. The material is easy to cut (dykes) and forms pretty good. My main reason for using this product was not having to drill holes and not having to Jack the car for installation.

Agreed - also the cost of the scrape armor to me is hard to justify when this product exists and can provide adequate protection combined with the front camera for a fraction of the cost. I also did not want to bother with silicone, etc. for permanent bonding of whatever I use. This way if it is damaged or worn it can be easily replaced.

One box of Sliplo with the 8 pieces is definitely sufficient. You don't need to continuously cover the entire perimeter of the front. Based on my own scrap marks, the low points appear to be either the front left or front right corners. Product seems reasonably durable and the adhesive is excellent.

Thanks for this. I'll likely focus there on the corners and on the very front couple of feet as well.

Default The day has arrived

Sitting here signing paperwork. The car is filthy as the dealership did as requested and did not prep it at all for me. Will take better pics this week after I get it cleaned up and then again after PPF.

Still undecided on gloss PPF or stealth!

Yeah it was 41 days from arriving at Port to landing at the dealership! Long wait but so worth it. It left port this morning at 7am, got to the dealership around 2pm, and now I'm picking it up at 7pm. Not having dealership detail it probably aided in allowing pickup same day.

Definitely worth it! Now the daunting task of finding all my "settings" and getting comfortable in it!

I drove about 80 miles just randomly tonight after picking it up, definitely feeling more comfortable already! Driving within the break in guidelines is very difficult

Also found somethings to nitpick about, like what can't the HUD show android auto nav? The nav cues only work with the native nav. Also it's either road sign assist or compass in the HUD, we can't have both!

It was dark so I couldn't figure out where the auto high beam button was, I'll tackle that one in the morning along with fine tuning the sound EQ and assigning multiple seating positions and programming the homelink, installing the proclip mount and my dashcam.

Get an Apple phone. CarPlay maps and google maps via CarPlay work on HUD.
The auto higher is in the left hand stalk. Push directly into it.
The ML in this car is overrated. I can’t get over how bright the audio sounds.
