Long time member here with my last three LSs (2009awd - 2010rwd - 2012awdL)...
Just traded in our 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman AND our RX450hL for an almost new 2020 LC. With the pandemic, 4 cars in the driveway with only one being used, it was time to say goodbye-for-now to a few...
So here I am... still with the 2012 LS 460l awd and now the LC. No good pictures yet, but it's white on red, so you've all seen it. And since it's about to turn to great white north here, it will go in storage for December to March...
Hi my name is Andrew and I just got my 2018 LC in ultra while with sports package and mark levinson sound. The can also has the carbon fiber spoiler and 21 inch gloss black rims
In the words of the preeminent American poet Jay-Z, “Please allow me to re-introduce myself”. My friends call me KG and I’ve been lurking around Club Lexus since I bought my first 1999 GS300 when it was an EZ Board forum. I actually left the Lexus family for the last 6 years and haven’t spent much time lurking on the forum since then. The primary change that I’ve seen is that the Debate sub forum seems to be gone now or at least hidden from mere mortals like myself. I never thought it was a good idea to discuss politics and current events on a Lexus enthusiasts forum and although no one forced me to click but I was somehow strangely drawn to it.
I didn’t really order my LC500 from Amazon but in a lot of ways it seemed like it. This was a first in many ways for me: the first time buying a pre-owned car, the first time buying out of state, the first time negotiating by email, phone and text without stepping foot in the dealership and the first time I wasn’t planning on changing the factory wheels right away. My 1995 Dodge Intrepid was the first car that I ever researched on the internet before buying; however, I probably spent more time researching this purchase online in the last 8 months than I have in my entire life. I think that I have seen every YouTube video (even the Japanese ones) and read every online article and posts in this subforum related to the LC. Analysis paralysis was in full effect for the last year to say the least. My number one requirement was full leather seats because I was adamant that I did not want the alcantara inserts. As I mentioned before this was my first pre-owned car purchase so I wanted to get one that had no more than 10K miles. There was one in Nashville that I was watching for 3 months before it was sold and a couple of weeks later this one showed up in Jacksonville so I decided to jump on it. They just delivered it to me.
That is a beautiful piece of machinery.....congrats.
Thanks

I appreciate it Bit. . It’s Atomic Silver with Rioja Red interior. I really dig silver also. The CTS coupe that I traded was silver. I’m sure that some of my family and friends who aren’t enthusiasts won’t even realize that I got a new car. That color is very forgiving even if you aren’t **** about keeping a clean car like I am
Hi, just joined the club...and bought a new 2021 LC500 Infrared, Toasted Caramel, Sand top. What a car! Read every review, went to the Toronto car show last year and was amazed by the convertible concept they had on display. Had to get one! Everything they say about the car online; sounds great, drive like a GT, awesome interior, attention to detail, etc.etc... is 100% accurate and more. I'm not in sales and I've owned a lot of nice cars and this one is certainly the best. Already Ceramic coated with Opti-Coat Pro+ and parked for the winter. Have a total of 300miles on it so far. Sure turns heads and everyone wants to know what it is and who makes it. It's really hard to capture the true color with the phone. It's unfortunate because the color and design is incredible in person.
