Great write up! Very informative.

What color do you have (that's attracting all this attention)? With regular roof, carbon fiber roof or moon roof?

Actually I have the most boring color. White, but I do have the carbon fiber roof and performance package. So the spoiler does draw some extra glances.

I really love the interior and the exterior of LC500, I have currently LX570 and I travel at least 550 miles long trips each way twice a year, Vegas to San Francisco.

Is this car comfortable in long drives? say 10 hours or so, or I will have aches and back pain. LX570 is perfect in long distance travel but I want a comfortable sports car at this time. I am 61 years old.

I find it comfortable but the longest drive I have taken has been 4ish hours. I do feel that these are some of the best seats I have sat in, in a car.

I drove the car for a few miles and was not that impressed. I really wanted to love it but it felt slow and a little too soft, at least compared to my SL 63 AMG. I am waiting for the F model to appear and see what they can do to add some grunt and tighten up the response. I am a huge Lexus fan so I have faith.

(sighs) Comparing a twin turbo V8 to a N/A V8 is apples to oranges. When the SL63 is in the shop with a leaking oil pan and the electrical gremlins start taking effect after the first 30K miles, the LC500 will still be crushing around basking in all the glory because.....

...well... it's a Toyota.

In another thread someone was hypothesizing that the spoiler from the performance package is causing noise/rattling. Maybe that's the source of your rattle?

Nah, no need for an LC when he already has the LFA

Hello everyone,

sorry for my poor english.

I got my LC500h since the end of december 2018, I love the car and agree with missedapex review.
I hadn't rattling noise but I had issue with driver seat electronics, it wasn't keeping memory and wasn't slideing frontward when bending the back of the seat.

I have a performance package myself and in 7,000 miles of ownership have not had any rattling from the active spoiler. It makes a slight vibrating sound when raising and a minor thumping sound when it deactivates and lowers back down. It's funny reading these comments about all these very frivolous complaints about the LC. God forbid any of you drive a real race car it would drive you all crazy with all the noises those things make. LOL
