I got this one at Covercraft.
This cover is the Dustop and it is made exclusively for protecting against dust and dings. It has a 4 year warranty. You can buy the same cover from others for a bit less, but Covercraft will not cover the warranty directly you would have to go through whoever you buy it from.
This is the second cover I have purchased from Covercraft, the first was a Noah that I got for my C6 Vette and that cover also protected against rain. But is not as good as the Dustop for dust.
The reason I got a Dustop is that it handles dust a lot better than any other cover, and my car does not sit outside so no need to have rain protection.
I think they are good covers, not cheap...This one will cost around $280.
It fits...Like a glove.

Has anyone purchased a outdoor car cover for your LC 500 convertible? I have a garage but like to have a cover for when i travel? what brand did you get. I am looking for a light weight cover.

It is best not to use a car cover on a dirty vehicle.

How are you going to clean your car every night in a hotel parking lot? LoL
Outdoor covers are a lot thicker than indoor ones, too.
I don't think I have ever known anyone to cover their vehicle on road trips so I am curious here.

Indoor Cover Recomendation
Not sure if asked before, but looking for opinions on indoor cover for times when I'll be out of town or not driving the LC for a while.

.....May give it a try…..Always been a lil reluctant tho, cuz my experience had been that covers can scratch when going on & off.

Dust is less of a problem for garages with epoxy / sealed floors, but if you've got any kind of airflow in your garage that will lead to dust.
+1 on "why buy a $95K car and not have a garage", if you can afford these cars you can afford an apartment with a garage or a house.

Recommended Car Cover for the LC500?
I just purchased my 22 LC500 in blue mica in August and I'm looking to buy a car cover that won't scratch my paint. Of course most of the car cover manufacturers claim their product is "soft", etc. Before I make a purchase I would end up regretting, I thought I'd reach out to the Experts - other LC owners - to find out if you have purchased a cover, actually used it, and been satisfied with it. The most important thing is that it won't scratch the car, keeping dust off and ease of use are important but not as much as not damaging such a beautiful vehicle.

You're right, most of the cover manufacturers (actually just sales warehouses since all the covers are made in China) state their cover is "soft" and won't harm paint. It all depends really on where you keep your car. If it's stored outside, then it's going to get dirt under the cover after just a short time anyway. And if you don't dust it off every time before you cover it, it will have dirt on it.
So the best way is probably to keep it indoors in which case you can just cover it with a lightweight "indoor" cover that is flimsy and won't rub on the paint when installing and removing. Best of all is if you have a way of lifting the cover straight up without any dragging on the paint. It will help very much if you ALWAYS have someone on the other side to help move the cover. Otherwise, you will drag it across the hood and trunk every time. And don't even ask about removing it when it's wet or has snow on it!
