Is a used LC priced too well to pass up?
I'm seeing used LCs with <10k miles for close to $70k.
Currently drive a IS300AWD. Lease is up in 6 months and I'm looking to get something sportier.
911 (2013+) are really appealing to me for the sports car feel & performance numbers.
I've only driven the LC once for 10 minutes on a test drive. I was underwhelmed in that it didn't have the feel in acceleration or lack of body roll that the 911 has. That said, I should probably give it another try.
Only problem with the 911 is that used ones aren't really that great of a deal -- 2013 models with <25k miles are selling for 60+% of msrp; plus the maintenance costs will likely be higher than the LC.
Given that 99% of driving will be on the road with maybe 1-2x track events/year.
Is the LC too good of a deal to pass up and probably a better decision for daily driving?

10 mins is too short for a test drive at the end of the day LC is not about just the sports car feel and numbers
its the total package
it has the sound to back up the looks and it has the numbers to back up the sound and its a damn comfy ride but abit hard to get in and out
i wouldnt really recomend it as a daily though
mine gets drive max once or twice a week

I don't think the 911 and the LC500 match up well. The 911 is a pure sports car (with every day driveability) and the LC is a bonafide GT (with every day driveability). If you are planning to track your car a few times a year, I'm thinking the 911 will likely be more satisfying for you. By all means, drive the LC for more than 10 minutes. You will appreciate what we owners have come to love about it. It's a amazingly well designed and built car that is an attention grabber and very satifsying to drive (to a point).

The LC is about much more than the drive. Are you willing to trade off the pinnacle of Lexus engineering and reliability for a more sporty ride? Do you want to be recognized everywhere you go for driving a car that's a lot more common - and rightfully so - or do you prefer something more unique? Do you want to pay twice as much for service and repairs twice as often, or avoid the dreaded dealer as much as possible?
Many of the car reviews I see on the LC compare the short-term benefits, where the LC will lose out almost every time (slower, heavier, more confusing infotainment system, lack of surround cameras for the pre-2024 models, etc). They rarely live with car for more than a few days, so they don't usually take into consideration things like reliability or adjusting and compensating for the capabilities the car does not immediately excel in such as the nav.
I personally value reliability and cost of ownership more than a sporty ride which is why I chose the LC. But if I wanted to trade-off reliability for performance, I would definitely go with something German like a 911.
Figure out what's important to you in a car first, which will make the decision a bit easier.
