Make sure to include the wheels detailed specs in your ad subject line on ebay. The bolt pattern, offset ... etc so you have better luck with people searching for specific specs

I noticed many people buy unrelated wheels for their weird project cars. Mustang wheels for light trucks!, wrx wheels for car trailer! ... etc

^^^^That's the problem. The wheel specs are very uncommon. The bolt size is an M14 rather than M12 the size commonly used on cars. M14 is usually used on trucks. The bolt circle is also not common to other Lexus vehicles. The specs are unique to late model LS's and the LC. The 21" LC wheels are far easier to sell because a lot of LC owners are moving up from 20s to 21s, leaving a glut of 20s. However, IMHO, both the 20" and 21" OEM sizes are too narrow by ½". My Vossen's are an inch wider front to back.

Brief history on the Chevy SS... 2014 & 2015 came out with 19" forged polished aluminum rims looks pretty close to what we have with our 20" rims. when model year 2016 & 2017 came around the rims were changed by GM/Holden and owners were trying to get the 2015/16 rims to swap out. Additionally GM offered a 20" rim of a different design also desired. Having a 20" forged rim of polished aluminum on that car is a WIN. from a quick glance it looks like they will bolt up

Chevrolet SS Bolt Pattern PCD 5x120 (5x4.72) See Adapters Thread size M14 x 1.5 Lug Nuts
offset
Front = +48

Rear = +57

just saying there is a market for them.

^^^^Yep, looks like those dimensions are the same except for offset. LC offset is +25 front and rear.

I am also hesitating if I should upgrade to 21", if I can sell my current 20" I will definitely pull the trigger. So it seems the OE 20" rim specs is so unique that only late LS model can fit, no other brands/models. Sad...

Default Looking for 20" wheel and tire setups for inspiration

Good day gents!

I've searched the interwebs high and low looking for inspiration on wheel setups and really only saw less than a handful... any of you fine gents can put up some of your 20" wheel setups?

Love the 21s but would prefer 20"... something like 20x9 / 20x9.5 up front and possibly 20x12 rears?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Default Share your aftermarket wheels and specs

Starting to look at aftermarket wheels and suspension and its nearly impossible to find a variety of aftermarket wheel threads with people posting specs, aside from diameter and width. Id love to know what kind of offset, spoke disk type(depending on brand), and possibly the camber. Ive bought quite a few sets of wheels over the years but I find myself to be a very visual person, even after doing the research and measurements myself. Something about getting a visual confirmation just makes it that much better.

This is the only thread, since January I can find on people talking about wheel specs. I cant realistically go through every single thread that might say wheel or tire, it could take hours.

So if anyone is interested it dropping wheels specs: Diamater, width, offset, disk type(depending on brand), ride height, tire size, and camber, I'd love to see and read about it. I know its tough to ask for a wheels and tire sticky for the LC section, since its not something as common as the IS or RC series

Thanks

Thank you Lou! Im sure there have been threads made, like mine, plenty of times. Its nice to try and pool them together. in the advanced search, I think I used 6 variations of LC wheels, specs, etc etc.

i'm with you on this. tried searching for weeks now. most forums have a wheel / tire fitment thread started by members. It just helps future owners to be able to configure their wheels and tires setup before committing to a purchase.

i've done some test fitting etc on some forged 20" wheels by Advan. seems like we have room for 20x12 in the rear I'll post my finidngs once i get the tires in.

Not completely unheard of. I've seen a handful of dealers change the wheels to aftermarket on LCs over the years. I remember one dealership did 2 different Inspiration Series LCs with these white Vossen CG-205T wheels...
