I will tell what has worked in the past with Corvettes.

First is indexing, where you manually move the seat to all of its extremes in every direction that it can do. Forward and back. Up and down with both the rear and front of the seat. (Tilt of the seat may be the same), and then tilt of the back. Then try to redo the memory.

If that didn't work, we would disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and let the car's computer reboot. And many times that fixed things.

In my LC I use button #3 to move the seat back to exit, initiated just before turning the car off. Button #1 I use right after starting the car to move the seat closer to the steering wheel when I get back in to drive.

Ended up taking the LC back to the dealer. They had to hook up the computer to the OBDII port and reset the seat limits. All works now including the memory seat buttons and the auto-exit.

I am puzzled. My 2021 LC does have this feature and it works quite well. I had to program it using the key symbol and I believe the lock or unlock button.

when you say this feature do you mean memory seats? if so yeah all LCs have it, and yes, it should work. i had a bit of weirdness early on but did the seat dance reset and all was good after that.

Thumbs up Memory seats

Turn on the ignition (press start button twice without foot on brake pedal). Get out of the car.

From outside, move the seat fully forward until it stops. Then move the seat fully to the back until it stops. You may hear repeated beeps during this motion (I did).

Next, tilt the seatback and lay the seat back fully down toward the rear seat. Continue laying it back until it stops. Then tilt the seatback fully upright until it stops.

Now the seat position memory should be reset and you can save your seat position.
Thanks for your help! Bought new lc500 in Orlando last week.Master tech said would have to bring it in.3 hours round trip on I-4 nightmare.Going to call and tell them the fix. Thanks,Bill in Daytona Beach Shores

My 2022 has “easy exit access”, but not working. Nor did the seat memory work.

I followed these directions and now both functions work correctly.

Thanks for bringing this thread to the top. The nearest Lexus dealer is 125 miles away from me.

Thanks for this thread! It worked for me to help a guest with his '22 LC 500 convertible.

Keep in mind that this needs to be done with the vehicle in accessory made - no foot on the brake, press power button twice. The motor is not on.

I've been playing with the seats for 2 weeks on my new LC 500. YOU solved the problem. Someone should tell the dealers.

At the Stealership and off-warranty, that small adjustment would have been $150!

This is a great thread. Two day old 2023 LC500C and the memory seats would not work (did beep on moving). Performed the reset as above and perfect! Crazy this wasn’t done before delivery. Thanks!
