I thought there is a hardware requirement that no LC500 has. All LCs have CP after 2018 don’t they?

That is my understanding. So no cable needed to get Tidal to the car.

yup, i use an indiegogo aawireless adapter... (android auto) tidal sounds great. note that when you do wireless aa or carplay it's transmitted over wifi not bluetooth - definitely sounds better than bluetooth.

And you have the convienience of not having to wire up your phone or touch it in any way and CP or AA come up on their own when you start the car?

Gotcha, it’s just that I got a real feeling of accomplishment when I got to the point that it all comes up automatically when I start the car. Have it on my Honda Civic Si as well.

WAZE traffic report and whatever I was last listening to on Tidal just come up. Things are getting better!

I am wondering if anyone here lives in the regions that aren't included in Lexus Carplay upgrade program (Australia, Russia, Middle East, and some countries in Europe) and choose to install an aftermarket solution to get Carplay

Would like to know which brand they went with and would they recommend a certain product.
