Mine will be an e85 tune. Loi also has a 91oct and 93oct tune as well. I’ll do a before and after dyno soon for some solid numbers.
So far he has shared that it will increase throttle response, torque, and power.
E85 tune on an LC500? Dude why don't you just buy a Miata..
E85 is not premium gas and why buy an LC500 if you are frugal about fuel prices? E85 gas is also not the best fuel for high performance cars.
I think you might be thinking of the ethanol added to gas. An E85 tune is different: in this case it acts similar to race fuel at higher octanes. It adds more power. I think E85 is equivalent to 105 octane or so. I've only ever seen it for turbo cars though, didn't know it was a thing on NA cars.
Ahhh that makes sense and E85 is corn gas and I would not use it in any car I own. Its full of water and can screw up your motor if left in the tank for some time. Rock on with that tune it sounds great.

Definitely not. E85 has a much higher octane rating than pump 93 and also has a cooling effect on intake air. It doesn’t have the same energy as gasoline so you need roughly 35% more fuel or you’ll run lean. It also doesn’t have as good fuel economy for the same reason.
It is hydroscopic so it will absorb moisture from the air. This is only an issue if you leave the car out in areas of high moisture for months on end and never run the fuel system. Otherwise, your golden.
Do you know if this tune would work with modified parts (example: headers, catback exhaust, etc.)?
Yes, they are doing custom dyno tuning on the LC/GSF/RCF along with e85 tuning so they can optimize your tune for whatever mods you have. Transmission can be tuned as well which was a huge deal for the ISF/RCF/GSF.

What does the transmission tuning do? Are we talking about shift logic? Or can you ask the transmission to stay in aggressive shift mode where you get those instant shifts as opposed to the slurry ones?
