How is the Mark Levinson system in the current 2022 Lexus 350?
which '350' are you referring to? RX350, NX350, ES350, IS350, RC350, etc?

Ain't it amazing how mosts questions and issues that are raised today have already been asked & answered at some time in the past.
I'm gonna have to start checking the library before going to the forum. Thank you for showing me how valuable this resource is!

Sick.....Gotta give you some props on this matter too!

I'm sorry. I forgot this thread covered many models.

Interested to know, on the new NX350 models equipped with the advanced Mark Levinson speaker package how well the audio sounds.

With so many reviews that praise the system on some models and complain about the system on others, I am interested to see how Lexus did with this brand-new offering in their fleet.

this thread mentioned other models, but it's about the LC500. if you'd like to inquire about ML in the new nx350, please look or ask for information in that forum. thanks. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...2-current-313/

finally figured this out with help from sick puppy's post (thank you) about getting into the trunk with a key from the back seat!

you grab the cover from near the TOP and pull back and then the whole thing comes out, you can't just take off the cloth covered bottom like on the convertible i believe.

Nice! So why were you interested in removing the SUB cover? Are you looking to change or modify anything?

we had many convertible owners complaining about the sub vibrating and the posted fix of cutting out a plastic protective shield inside the sub cover. i was curious to see if same was possible with the coupe, even though i'm not particularly dissatisfied with the sub and i have no rattling.

Yes I remember that. Kinda odd how the convertibles had that issue but the coupes didn't. I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Vert obviously is a different build and has some modifications the coupe does not. Like mentioned to even access the sub you remove the cover on the vert from the front. It was likely a design flaw that wasn't tested fully. I have had my vert a year now and distortion only really happens on some songs. Mostly older songs with a lot of bass. I am about to take it in for service and going to ask Lexus if they have any updates on a fix.

soooo, if I were to remove t he subwoofer, this would leave a port into the trunk?? If so, that will likely be my way of doing a custom sub in the trunk and having it vented into the car, because I don't think any aftermarket subwoofer is going to fit into that space and. have legitimate airspace volume.... but this is definitely great information to know. I went up the dealership this week asking about this, and they didn't know ( parts dept )

After using this stereo for almost a year now, and reserving judgement up until this point, my opinion is that whilst there may be potential in the system, I am not able to fully extract it.
Using Tidal premium, or CDs, and whether leaving the bass, mid and treble at suggested flat levels or adjusting them independantly, I can not get a good sound reproduction.
I really hate to say it but I feel as if I get better sound quality from my RAV4 and base system in my GLK.
From some songs I can get decent sound reproduction, others not very good at all. Overall I am disappointed.

another tidal user here and same experience. some songs sound very good, others terrible. i realize modern recording has improved sound quality a lot but my impression is older songs sound particularly bad on ml
