Exhaust valves

Looks like there was a change at some point and/or the convertibles are different.
2024 is too new and my service information doesn't have anything on it yet so I can't check the wiring diagrams to see how that circuit is powered.

My 2022 vert has it exactly where the diagram says. Efi 15 right below those 2 30amp ones.
strange that they would make this change in the 2024 MY

So I cross referenced the part number on the newer fuse box cover and it's for 2024 LC only, both V8 and hybrid.
So something changed in MY2024. I'd love to get my hands on the wiring diagram for the '24s to see what they changed.
We will eventually find out.

Guess I won't be pulling the fuse right away lol

Here also to confirm that the 2024 is definitely different (Vert in my case).
Why would an EFI #5 fuse (Electronic Fuel Injection, I assume) be required on 23s down and not the 24s......hmmmmm.

So you guys with 2024's, just do it the old way and unplug the exhaust valves.

Likely they decided to power the valves another way as they optimized the design. Chances are they are now powered on another existing circuit with other systems which means you can't use the fuse method without disabling other things.

Yes, there are the two connectors at the valve modules you can unplug. These can be difficult to get to. However, please note that convertible trunk floors may have differences in how much equipment is tucked into that space. Additionally, we know that the wiring was changed for MY2024 so the fuse no longer exists. There may be other changes hiding in there so until someone confirms the 2024 setup, we can't be sure.
