Craig B, I honestly think you just had back luck with that particular dealership (of course there's always bad apples out there).

My dealer, even though I don't visit often and didn't buy my LC there, loves to see me come in and gives me what I consider special treatment. I asked the service writer why, and he told me that unlike most of his customers, I actually know something about cars and he says he has learned things from me
Though I don't know what![Dunno](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/13879dunno.gif)

Our LC stranded me a couple of times with this issue a few months back, and Lexus could not have been better handling it. It seemed a known issue back then. They had seen it several times and knew just what it was, how to fix it. I’m surprised it took this long for the recall.
If you have an LC and have not done this, seems to me you could be on borrowed time.

Title:Safety Recall 20LA01 (Interim Notice 20LB01), Multiple Model and Model Years, Vehicle May Stall During Driving at Higher Speed Status:Remedy Not Available RecallDate:01/13/2020 Dealer Reference Id:20LB01 NHTSA Reference Id:20V012 Description:The subject vehicles are equipped with a low-pressure fuel pump which may stop operating. If this were to occur, warning lights and messages may be displayed on the instrument panel, and the engine may run rough. This may result in a vehicle stall, and the vehicle may be unable to be restarted. If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds, this could increase the risk of a crash. Remedy:Lexus is currently investigating this issue and will be developing a remedy. When the remedy is available, it will be free of charge to vehicle owners.
How are we supposed to drive the car for another 2 months unsafely before they could come up with a solution?

Trust me guys, that stall is a real thing. Also, it’s not simple to put this car into neutral to push it off the road. Happened to me in middle of an intersection.
Maybe at least familiarize yourselves with that procedure until you can have your fuel pumps changed out.
When ours did this Lexus were really good to pick the car up, diagnose and fix quickly. It was a “known issue” even then. They had another car there at that time. I understand Atlanta had seen 5.

I called Lexus customer service. They recommended taking the car back to the dealership from which I purchased the car from. They said the dealership would give me a free loaner car from a rental car company until the fuel pump is fixed. The loaner car won't be a Lexus. I will call the dealership to confirm. If they could fix the car in March, we are talking about having a loaner for at least a month and half.

Does this include all LC's that have ALREADY REPLACED their fuel pumps on the previous recall?
