I am scheduled to receive my LC on May 1st.
I am now debating waiting for 2021 model.
Do you know how the cycle works for Lexus in terms of dealers seeing these?
Thanks Eddy

My reaction? Eh. Nothing really of note for us existing owners. Unless you're an Android user.

I wonder if Lexus monitors this site? I also own a Mercedes and a BMW and those owners' sites are most definitely monitored. They regularly make their presence known.

Any car company that monitors owner forums or groups (like LC 500 Club on FB), would be smart to get 1st hand feedback from current owners - good or bad!

From what I've heard, there are no new LC vehicles available for purchase in Japan because the factory is currently shut down. Only very few used vehicles to choose from. I expect we will experience the ripple effect.

I'm not sure what you mean by feeling the ripple effect, if we're already owners. The fact that no new LC's are being produced shouldn't affect us - if we already own one. Maybe I misunderstood --> could you elaborate on experiencing the ripple effect (are you referring to the economy as a whole)?

My point was targeted at the thread subject - the 2021 model, and the related changes - will likely get delayed.

Sorry for the confusion... I mean our supply of incoming vehicles will also stop or be delayed significantly (what's happening in Japan will "ripple" or propagate to the US). Unless it's already on US soil, or in a ship on its way from Japan, it probably ain't coming for a while. The arrival of the new convertible is also projected to get delayed. You're right - we current owners should feel even more appreciative for what we've got right now!

I'd assume that without the proper testing on that engine, they won't be moving forward as scheduled on development for the LC F.

^ Yup. Agreed. The whole planet has been put on "hold" for a while. I was hoping to see the LC-F introduced around the time of (or maybe even at) the 2020 Olympics. Maybe next year...
