Has anyone supercharged the LC 500

Their website says coming soon. How did you hear about this? How much HP would this typically add and are there any negatives adding a supercharger to a stock engine?

Too bad there's not a boost gauge to see or else I could tell you what the resultant horsepower was.

Alright, I read the comments from the dyno's page, and they are saying it's a Whipple supercharger, and the engine is putting out an additional 100 horsepower at the wheels. That means they are running approximately a very conservative 5 psi of boost.
So that is 500 hp at the rear wheels - very nice!

Stocks is 471 at the crank. If it's putting 500 to the rear wheels then it's probably something more like 590 at the crank. So something like 120 extra HP at the crank. Drivetrain losses appear to be about 15-20% based on the dino results I've seen.

Had a brain fart - completely off on my calculations. Yeah, about 104 to the crank since I was calculating a 15% drivetrain loss....🤦♂️

“Follow us on Facebook to learn when we launch a new product” always blows my mind from any business, no matter how small. Find a 13-year-old kid to run your email marketing, or fire your marketing manager if this if their job and they can’t do it right. Most people have no desire, and some no ability, to skim Facebook posts for a possible product launch that’s years overdue.
