FINALLY GOT TO SEE A CONVERTIBLE LIVE AND IN PERSON!!!!! 
Bell Lexus just got a red over caramel convertible w/Touring (sold many months ago) in and let me see it as it was being PDI'd.
Damn this vehicle commands attention. It DEFINITELY has presence!!!!
Their next one coming in is their Inspiration Series but they don't think it will be here until Nov/Dec. They are gonna call me once its in so I can come see it.
I am getting excited!!!!

Talked to the New Inventory Manager at Lexus of Portland.
They get an allocation update the first week of every month.
My car is NOT arriving this month.
Lexus can list the allocation before or after the car has been built. If he gets the allocation before the build date it will be 8-12 weeks before it arrives at the dealer for me to pick up. If its listed for allocation after it has been built it will be 4-8 weeks.
They got a red LC 500 convertible into port Sep 4th IN PORTLAND and they still don't have it for sale yet.
Fortunately for me I understand that CoVid has done to the world as I ordered all new furniture for my new house almost 10 months ago and it finally arrived in September.....haha
It'll get here when it gets here.
Probably Dec or Jan.....which is perfect for Arizona.

Wow - This thread has taken an odd turn. 
If anyone is interested it took an extra 6 months to get my new patio furniture and I still haven't gotten the zebra skin rug and elephant foot stools I ordered in March - someone said endangered species list but I'm holding out and blaming Covid-19 - - - - -

Patio Furniture? huh?
I built a new house in January.....threw away everything I owned, and ordered all brand-new furniture for this home, most of it directly from Italy. As you know, Italy shut down immediately upon CoVid's arrival.....international shipping ground to a halt, which created massive backlogs for goods. Then the US ports started getting inundated with cargo once shipping got back up and running.
Not sure what the point of your post was....

I said I ordered a new Ethan Ellen sofa 2 years ago which took about 4-5 months....so your current situation is not that bad.
I then deleted it since I agree it is irrelevant to LC500...
