Carbon Fiber Shift knob

Love CF parts look excellent!
Definitely makes the caramel interior pop.
Seibon is very popular among the NSX crowd when I had mine. I didn't hear anyone complain much regarding their hood and diffuser.

the $1100 hood you speak of must be Seibon. They are definitely less expensive than other brands, such as Tom's or Varis and other companies that make CF parts for the LC. I have no experience with Seibon so I cannot comment on their quality, but in pictures the fitment looks good, from that I can tell. It seems like all the Japanese brands are just more expensive. My thoughts on the price and overpaying: if you want it, buy it.

OP,
First off, I don’t mean to take over your thread showing off my product I just received.
I want to thank you for inspiring me to reach out to Elvin (Instagram) to have my shift **** done in carbon fiber.
Now, I just need the self confidence to order a matching steering wheel, but a bit nervous with the sensitive components within the steering wheel assembly.

That's awesome! Love the blue. I am actually about to send a steering wheel to exotic cargear (who did my shifter) so they may do the CF conversion. I will post pics whenever I get it back but it will likely be several weeks from now.

Thanks Andy, I have a Toms kit and about to go the same thing. Curious how much the shop typically charged for the gloss black chrome delete ?

Wow! Kennyd011 that came out nice! It’s great to be able to put a name to who had ordered that awesome steering wheel from Elvin. I plan to purchase a similar one later, but in hybrid blue color theme.
As for pricing, it’s a bit tough due to cost of living where I live so I know you can get better deals than me.
I opted to have the rear diffuser (exhaust tips), chrome roof moldings, side mirrors, headlights, taillights, and front grille painted gloss black.
The reason why I went the painting route is due to already having my car at the shop for the install of the front lip and trunk spoiler. My total cost included the clear coat and install of the exterior parts in addition to the chrome delete so I don’t have the official number off the top of my head.
I am highly confident wrapping will be cheaper and was something I was really thinking about. I seen some amazing carbon fiber accent wraps done on the LC, which was very tempting.
can’t wait to see the tom’s kit when installed. Love that brand as I had their products on my RC F.
you can’t go wrong with wrapping or painting. Go with what your heart tells you to do.
