2019 vs 2018 MY LC 500, which one should I buy?
Hello guys,
Has anyone driven both the 2018 and 2019 MY LC 500s? I'm looking to purchase one in a few months, it seems from my research that the primary difference between the two is the transmission programming. Is that significant? I'm finding quite a lot of 2018s for sale throughout the US but not so much 2019s, and they command quite a premium price. I'm trying to determine if it's a significant difference.
I'll be daily driving the car if that matters.

I am curious about this as well. From what I understand the trans programming and damping settings in the suspension are the two big changes? How significant is the difference?

Here is the press release, but I am sure you have seen it. https://pressroom.lexus.com/56077-2/
The trans programming is pretty much the same, but it was retuned for the areas between cruising and max performance. It is smoother and chooses gears better at half throttle. I think they have changed this again for the 2021 MY
I believe they made the suspension a little softer overall. This might be a pro or con.
These two things were subtle but noticeable for me. The other changes were not.
