Default de-badging holes or glue

I am interested in de-badging my LC, knocking off the LC500 letters from the rear bumper. Does anyone know if those letters are attached to bumper with screws or glue/adhesive? If they're glued I will do the heat gun & dental floss deal, if screws then I have to take it to a body shop. thx

Can't find a picture beyond a parts illustration so don't know. There are generally no screws just locator pins that press into the body, if the emblem has them. Run some dental floss under the emblem and you'll know.

or you can just go down to a dealer and ask the parts department!

no hole behind the emblem "LC 500." FYI, the new emblem "LC 500" comes in a template and not as individual character. You peel off the back to expose the 3M adhesive, put on car then peel of the top paper and plastic. I made a drawing of it below

They are factory attached with adhesive. No mechanical attachment whatsoever.

Gentle heat and fishing line does it.

I debadged mine pretty much as soon as I could. I used a heat gun and fishing line.
